Uber excited to write this review! The launch of the NYX lingerie lipsticks proved to be quite popular among bloggers; one of the reasons being they are known for being excellent, price friendly dupes for the Kylie Jenner lip kits!
*DISCLAIMER: These were purchased with my own money. I have never received PR samples since I started blogging and my opinions are completely unbiased.

NYX are a brand I first discovered in Cocktail Cosmetics, however, it is no longer stocked in their store. I was delighted to see it was being released to Boots (UK drugstore) but was sad to find they're only available online. I live in Birmingham UK and I assumed that being a large City, NYX would be distributed to my local stores offline. The good news in, you can order online and get free delivery by selecting the local "pick up" option.
I was not entirely knowledgeable on the origins of NYX other than knowing they are an overseas brand. I did my research and thanks to source inthegloss.com I discovered that NYX first came into fruition "in 1999 by founder Toni Jo."
I am really pleased to say that NYX are CRUELTY FREE products. There are certain brands I will no longer be purchasing so I have been looking for replacements - NYX are one of the brands that have made that easy. Best of all? NYX are affordable and high in quality!
The products I am reviewing in THIS post were actually purchased through the Depop app, however I have another NYX product I collected in a Boots store but I'll write a separate post concerning that. Global Director Joyce Kim states that NYX grew thanks to word of mouth and were originally only available to professionals trough trade shows.
I purchased the "lip lingerie lipsticks" in "Push Up" and "Lace Detail." They're one of NYX's newer releases and kicked up a storm in the world of beauty. I noticed many bloggers have claimed the lingerie lipsticks make great "Kylie Lip Kit" (being sold for over £30 per kit on average) dupes thanks to their wide range of nude tones (currently 12 on Boots) available. I can't speak on behalf of them being Kylie dupes as I have never and quite frankly, do not wish to spend an extortionate amount on a lip product. Each lingerie lipstick costs just £6.50 which is a smashing price! Here is how they appear:
(Push Up)
The products are shaped in the style of a lipgloss with a sponge applicator wand. I like the packaging, it doesn't look cheap and the writing hasn't rubbed off yet haha! Through looking at each lipstick, one would assume they are almost identical in colours but I found they differ in both colour and texture.

Lace Detail pictured on top and Push Up on the bottom - Lace detail is much lighter and ever so slightly peach in tone. On my lips it appears as a light soft pink. The texture is fairly light and applies sheer but dries more pigmented. Push Up is more brown in tone and is more drying than Lace Detail, however I can both confirm that despite the minor differences in texture, they both last all day. Of course, I DO use a lip primer but the pigment seen on the images of me wearing the product below speaks volumes!
Below, me wearing push up: To me, it's a "your lip but better" sort of shade!
Below, me wearing Lace Detail: I manage to get away with this light shade but it's best to ensure light colours do not look harsh in contrast with your skin tone!
The longevity REALLY impressed me. I don't think I have ever worn such a long lasting lipstick which stays true to its pigment for the whole day! Best of all, they wont break the bank and look splendid on my dressing table.
